The brief

To create a contemporary open plan living, dining room and kitchen. The client wanted a natural oak floor throughout, comfortable dining to seat eight and to be able to socialise with guests whilst cooking.

The challenge

To subtley dress the windows that run the full width of the room without over crowding the space. To ensure that all zones connected well on removing the wall between the kitchen and the living room to create the dining room and make the area properly open plan.

The approach

Survey and measure the space, provide furniture layout options. Incorporate and  client’s style and design brief criteria to develop the scheme and assist with selection and purchasing of flooring, finishes, wall coverings, lighting and accessories.

The result

The accent colours of citrine and Royal purple work beautifully with the neutral white and grey background. Natural materials and balance of textures create a harmony throughout the space. Petra says ‘I love it!
